PRIVACY NOTICE

Smart Consultancy & Coaching is a limited company with 2 owner/directors and no employees. The purpose is to conduct activities of general business as governed by the Memorandum of Association, but in particular to provide assessment training and product resources to organisations and private individuals.

General Data Protection Regulation

A new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) cames into force on 25 May 2018. The GDPR concerns the way in which organisations such as Smart Consultancy & Coaching Ltd collect, handle and protect the personal data of its customers and others. It also explains your rights in relation to that data

Data Controller

The Company Secretary, Martin Flory is responsible for the data protection and discharges this responsibility through this position. Your written consent is needed to continue to hold and use personal data you provide.

Sources of our data

All the data which we hold has come from you as a customer or potential customer, or supplier to the business, through postal or a variety of electronic media.

Some information is received through credit or debit-based purchases which are managed through Paypal.

What data do we hold?

The data held about each individual is as follows:

Individual and/or organisation name, postal address, email address, telephone and fax numbers where applicable. Bank details are only held on occasions in relation to regular suppliers, which are almost exclusively organisations.

Where contractual services involve the delivery of clinical assessments or treatments to children under the age of 18, certain sensitive data is received and processed within the conduct of that service alone. Where the need is identified to transfer information to another provider, for example, other clinical or medical practitioners, this is only done with the express permission of the parents, and almost exclusively at their request.

How do we use your personal data?

We maintain personal data to facilitate the conduct of business activities, including the delivery of contractual services. This may include occasional, limited marketing initiatives, and for formal and legal purposes through our professional advisers.

Your personal details are not shared with any other third party.

How long do we keep personal data?

Personal data will be kept only for as long as is necessary or as legally required. Should the business cease to function then the data will be destroyed (within any formal legal constraints).

The Data Privacy Policy and the personal data held will be reviewed and updated as required. Personal data will be destroyed if no longer needed for the purposes of the business or if you ask to have data removed.

Your data rights

You have the right at any time to access the personal data that we hold about you, as well as the right to require that it is amended or deleted. Please contact the Data Controller if you have such a request.

If you are unhappy about the way in Smart Consultancy & Coaching Ltd uses your personal data and you cannot resolve the issue with us, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.
